Our work includes instrumentation, pumps, chemical feed equipment, controls, custom skid systems, installation, calibration and maintenance. We bring sales, service and project expertise together to solve customer problems and support equipment throughout its working life.
Why Join Our Team
At H2sOlutions, teamwork is part of how we get the job done. Sales, service and project teams work together, share information and help each other meet customer commitments. We value people who communicate openly, take pride in their work and follow through for their teammates.
As part of a small company, you can see the impact of your work. Your attention to detail can prevent an order problem, your follow-up can keep a project moving, and your ideas can help improve the way we serve customers. This is a place for someone who enjoys contributing, learning technical products and working closely with others.
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized self-starter to support our sales team and keep quotes, purchasing and customer orders moving from inquiry through delivery. You will work with customers, vendors and internal teams to make sure information is accurate, commitments are clear and open items receive consistent follow-up.
This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys technical products, takes ownership without waiting for reminders and knows when to ask questions. Experience with engineering concepts, process flows or industrial equipment would be especially valuable.
What you will do
· Prepare accurate quotes by gathering customer requirements, obtaining vendor pricing and lead times, verifying specifications and quantities, and applying approved pricing and terms.
· Coordinate purchasing, including purchase orders, vendor acknowledgments, delivery tracking and resolution of pricing or order discrepancies.
· Check customer purchase orders against quotes and coordinate materials, documentation and handoffs with service and project teams.
· Maintain accurate customer records, opportunities, quote versions, activities and next steps in the CRM.
· Follow up on open quotes, customer decisions, vendor responses and outstanding commitments through completion.
· Keep customers, vendors and sales representatives informed of status, delays and required actions.
· Review product information and customer requirements, identify missing details and coordinate technical questions with the appropriate salesperson or technical resource.
· Provide complete order, shipping and receiving documentation to accounting to support accurate billing.
What We Are Looking For
· Experience in inside sales, purchasing, customer service, order management or technical sales support.
· Strong attention to detail when working with specifications, part numbers, quantities, pricing and delivery requirements.
· Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage several quotes and orders at different stages.
· Initiative to identify missing information, resolve routine issues and move work forward independently.
· Reliable follow-through and sound judgment about when to ask questions or escalate an issue.
· Clear, professional written and verbal communication with customers, vendors and coworkers.
· Comfort using CRM systems, Excel and other business software.
· Willingness to learn technical products and how customers use them.
Experience That Would be Especially Helpful
· An engineering-related background, technical education, or experience supporting engineering teams.
· Understanding of process flows and how equipment works together within a system.
· Familiarity with process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, equipment drawings, or technical specifications.
· Experience with pumps, instrumentation, chemical feed systems, controls, or water and wastewater equipment.
· Experience coordinating technical submittals or vendor documentation.
What Success Looks Like
Your quotes and purchase orders are accurate. Customers and coworkers know the status of their requests. CRM records reflect current information, and each open item has a clear next step. You anticipate missing details, follow up before deadlines slip and help the sales team deliver on its commitments.
If you enjoy technical work, take pride in getting the details right and want to contribute to a team that works together, we would like to hear from you.
Compensation: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
